JAMAAT is having an unusual show of Abstracts with some young, very promising artists.
Payal Khandwala - back from N.Y. is a very dynamic young artist who has already made her mark in the Bombay Art world. Her works of oil on canvas have an inner glow, and she works with vibrant colours and warm earth tones. Ravi Mandlik - Bombay based, works both on paper and canvas using multiple media. His works show sophistication belied by his age. His sense of colour and form is excellent.Sadhana Raddi - also Bombay based has been painting for a while and has developed a very striking style. Her sense of colour is wonderful.
Anu Kulkarni - Pune based works with oil on canvas. Her works are thoughtful and deep. They make you stop and think and look again.
